In case you’ve been in a remote cave system somewhere, by now you’ve heard about the astonishing and exciting (both due to the apparent “rightness” of this bold decision by the LAPhil management) hire of meteoric Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel as the next music director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
