Today I looked through the excellent “Rubber to the Road” book of local cycling routes, and decided to try a new, and slightly ambitious route. It’s known as the Iowa Hill Ride – and though the hill in question is only about a mile or so in length, it is a doozy! I have to admit that I had to walk half of the hill, it was just too steep for me today, especially as it comes after about 20 miles of riding. It’s my longest ride to date, and it’s early in the season, so I’m looking forward to some epics this summer!

Did I mention that I’m tired?
