One of the nice things about working downtown, right in the heart of the entertainment district, is having great food and drink close by. A favorite haunt of many OSO musicians is the outpost of the chocolatier Cacao in the adjoining Heathman Hotel. Lots of great coffee and chocolate beverages are consumed, and the occasional chocolate goodie as well. Here’s an artful arrangement of sardine-shaped chocolates (not sardine flavored … yet!) that I encountered at the break of our Tuesday pops rehearsal (also available in an adorable sardine tin box):
