An interesting article from today’s New York Times, which highlights the problems that all sorts of organizations are going through these days. Â In the case of Reed College, they were forced to choose applicants for next year’s incoming class of freshmen by virtue of whether they could pay more of their own tuition due to a shortfall in the amount of financial aid that the college was able to offer incoming students. Â Not a happy time in the admissions department, for sure.
