Leah Nash, the photographer commissioned by the symphony to produce the portrait, won the PDN/Billboard award in 2009 for best Live Music photo, of Antony Hegarty, of Antony and the Johnsons, in performance with the Oregon Symphony as part of the T:B:A Festival.

BTW, there’s a guest post on my blog by Don Ehrlich, violist in S.F. who plays an ergo viola. Maybe you know each other.
I have met Don at a viola congress event at some point – we don’t know each other beyond that, though I’ve enjoyed reading him on the viola email list from time to time.
