A collective shoe-gasm hit the female population (and a few select males) of the Oregon Symphony today as guest artist Amanda Forsyth strode on stage along with her husband, violinist and conductor Pinchas Zukerman, to rehearse the Brahms Double Concerto for Violin and Cello this morning. Why? Because she was sporting the apparent holy grail of shoes – kicks made by none other than Christian Louboutin. Here are the photos (thanks, Paloma!) you know you want to see:

high heels have never done it for me. i have always been partial to those gladiator, strappy things, with no heels. i also love two-tone flats with ankle bracelets, etc. you get the idea.
