The Oregon Symphony was nominated in the Best Orchestral Performance and Best Engineered Album, Classical category for its first CD release with music director Carlos Kalmar. The album, Music for a Time of War, was the complete program of its critically-acclaimed Carnegie Hall debut concert in 2011.

I might alert people to a recent notable review of the latest CD at Classicstoday.com. David Hurwitz is a pretty tough critic, who, with a few quibbles, gave a pretty favorable review of the CD.
