news tidbits for early july

It is a bit of a stretch for me where I’m working on music for upcoming festival performances, getting in a few miles on the bike here and there, and doing a bit of writing. Here’s what that entails this week:

  • I’ve got music on the stand for the Oregon Bach Festival‘s performance of Verdi’s towering Requiem this Sunday in Eugene (Hult Center for the Performing Arts). It will be an epic performance, not to be missed. Info/tickets
  • Chamber Music Northwest‘s intimate and exploratory club series opens tonight at Jimmy Mak’s Jazz Club (tonight’s concert is sold out). Hosted by All Classical Portland‘s Christa Wessel. Info
  • I’m happy to announce that at the June meeting of the Board of Directors of All Classical Portland, I was appointed to the board for a three-year term. I’m very excited about being on this extraordinary team!
