I wrote in a previous post that my fondest dream would be to be greeted just offstage with a frosty beer. Well, after a very long day, with a two-hour drive to play a huge quartet program in Astoria, Oregon at 2 pm, with a quick turnaround to get back to Portland for a 7:30 pm symphony concert, my wish was granted, thanks to violinist Greg Ewer and principal violist Joël Belgique. The occasion was even captured for posterity! Enjoy.
And did I mention that the mug was even frosty from the freezer? Unbelievable!!
