The Arnica Quartet returns to Astoria’s intimate venue the McTavish Room for an early January concert of string quartet favorites.
The concert takes place on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 2 p.m. The program will feature two of the most beloved string quartets of the 18th and 19th centuries: Mozart’s Quartet in C major , K. 465 “Dissonant”, and Dvorak’s Quartet in F major, Op. 96 “American”. Rounding out the program is the fresh and original String Quartet No. 1 of Benjamin Britten.
